The Deja Vu White Timepiece is a creation by European architect and designer Denis Guidone. He calls it “the Sweep of Time” or “what time leaves behind.” It’s not exactly H.W. Longfellow’s footprints in the sands of time, but the same idea nonetheless. The hour and minute hands are opaque white at the edge, and leave behind them a white gradient that gradually gets more transparent and eventually fades into the black dial. The Déjà vu part refers to what happens when the minute hand passes over the hour hand, creating overlapping gradients aka memories. The black stainless steel case is strapped on your wrist with a black rubber band or a black mesh stainless band. You can pick one of the two, or get both by ordering an extra band.
