Dreame introduced the A4 AWD Pro Series at IFA, a robot lawn mower with a swing arm that trims grass right up to the edge. It lands globally in 2027.
- EdgeMaster 4.0 swing arm: A swing arm extends the cutting disc as the mower detects a boundary, trimming grass to zero centimeters from walls, fences, and flower beds.
- Steep slope climbing: The all-wheel drive handles grades up to 90 percent, or about 42 degrees, so it keeps mowing on hills that stop other robot mowers.
- Obstacle handling: It clears holes or divots up to four inches deep and six inches wide without getting stuck.
- Precise navigation: 360-degree 3D LiDAR, satellite RTK positioning, and AI binocular vision map the yard, while an infrared sensor keeps the mower clear of people and pets.
Starting prices convert to about $3,500, though U.S. pricing may vary. Two models cover about an acre and 1.2 acres.
