FF Nova Humanoid Robot: Overview
FF Nova is a mini humanoid robot for developers and educators. You train AI skills in simulation, then test them on a real body that fits in a backpack.
- Sim2Real training: Policies from simulation run on the real robot. Data replay, reward setup, and model evaluation come built in.
- On-device AI: A 10 TOPS chip runs SLAM, LLM, and VLA models locally with input from 2D LiDAR, a 4 MP camera, and a 3D ToF sensor.
- Legs or wheels: Nova walks on two legs or rolls on a detachable base at up to 1.8 mph, so you can test both on one robot.
- Voice AI agent: Three microphones tell Nova who is speaking and from where. Plus, its open AI agent takes remote commands.
- Carry-anywhere size: At 19.6 inches and 6.2 pounds, it moves from home to classroom in one hand.
Phase One is limited to 100 units for developers and schools, and applications are open now at developer.ff.com.
