FR-NIA Expressive Robot: Overview
FR-NIA is an 11-inch portable robot from Figurobot with a silicone face that moves. She talks with you and reacts with real expressions as you chat.
- Real facial movement: Seven face motors and three neck motors move her eyes, brows, and mouth, so reactions look physical, not drawn on a screen.
- Natural conversation: Her camera tracks your face, so she turns toward you as you talk and her expressions follow your tone.
- Cloud memory: She stores past chats, preferences, and dates like birthdays. As a result, she grows more familiar over time.
- Your look, your AI: The app lets you set her voice, personality, makeup, hair, and outfits. Plus, an open API connects a compatible AI model.
- Three models: Lite runs up to 3 hours per charge; Pro and Pro Max run up to 5. Pro Max adds a 5 MP, 120° camera.
Back FR-NIA on Kickstarter for a small, expressive companion that remembers you and fits in your bag.
