You can call the Grasshopper Table Lamp simple but its the tubular steel stand which makes the whole setup look afresh. It’s tilted backwards and is mounted on a brass base. The conical shade is slightly elongated and is mounted on a movable joint so that you’re able to use it at the most preferable angle. The light will always be directional but you can avoid the glare by tilting it at different angular positions accordingly. It’s a design by Greta M. Grossman which is surely one of those rare table lamps that looks simple and takes you back to the world of vintage table lamps to a certain extent. But obviously in a better way.
