Korvaa Microbe-Grown Headset gives you a living pair of headphones

The Korvaa Microbe-Grown Headset is a concept design—for now. This experimental creation of microbe-grown headphones is the result of a collaboration between scientists and designers. They’ve explored how design and biologically based materials can work together in ways they never have before. This bio-based headset comes from the new technology of Synbio, which stands for Synthetic Biology. Designers crafted these headphones by engineering biological organisms into useful items.
