VIPERPOD Hybrid Hanging Tripod: Overview
The VIPERPOD is the first full-size tripod with a built-in hanging hook, letting photographers and videographers shoot from railings, doors, branches, and other structures where a standard tripod simply won’t stand.
- Built-In Hanging Hook: The integrated hook lets you mount the tripod on railings, balconies, branches, or car doors, opening up shooting angles that are impossible with ground-based tripods.
- External Flip Center Column: The center column sits outside the hub, so you can flip it sideways for ultra-low shots or swing it into a pan-and-tilt handle for video, all without removing any parts.
- C-Shaped Inverted Ball Head: The dual panorama platform and C-shaped design give you wider compositional freedom than a standard ball head, covering both horizontal and vertical panorama positions.
- Two Models for Different Needs: The standard VIPERPOD reaches a maximum height of 1,301mm with greater stability, while the VIPERPOD LIGHT folds down to 395mm for faster setup and easier travel.
- 20% Smaller Packed Diameter: Moving the center column outside the hub shrinks the folded diameter by 20%, so the tripod fits into a backpack bottle pocket or inside a bag.
Both models use carbon fiber and high-strength aluminum alloy construction, and the enlarged locking knobs work easily even with gloves on. VIPERPOD is a practical upgrade for creators who shoot in tight or unconventional spaces.
