Amazon Kids Kindle E-Reader: Overview
The Amazon Kids Kindle is a 6-inch e-reader for young readers. It ships with an artist-designed Bookman cover and a full year of Kids+ books.
- Paper-like display: The 300 ppi screen stays glare-free in bright sun, and a front light lets kids read under the covers.
- Books without distractions: With no apps or videos, Kids+ adds thousands of titles, like the full Harry Potter series, plus Audible books over Bluetooth.
- Help with harder books: Word Wise shows short definitions above tough words, and Vocabulary Builder saves each as a flashcard. So kids can move up to bigger books.
- Parent Dashboard: From your phone, track reading time, send books, and set bedtime hours.
- Weeks of battery: One charge lasts up to 6 weeks, since it only uses power to turn pages or light the screen.
