The aptly named Black Pal Dream-Line Pencils from Japanese company Kirin Pencil Co. allow you to write and draw pictures in multi-colors using a single pencil. For the record, it’s called Black Pal because it’s blacker than Black Beauty on the outside. The Dream-Line part of the name is indicative of the fact that the pencil has a seven-colored lead on the inside. This is why the color that comes out on paper changes as your draw. Let your children’s imagination run wild as their fingers ride the black beauty in their hands. Let them create rainbows, sunsets, birds and trees. Of course, some of them could end up as vandalizing graffiti artists, but that’s what the Dream-Line Pencils are about – helping people follow their dreams.
