MagScroll Magnetic Control Knob: Overview
MagScroll is a magnetic control knob for your computer. Its detent-free encoder turns smoothly with no clicks, so you can scroll and zoom with fine, continuous control.
- Smooth magnetic scrolling: The knob glides through long documents and code. A double tap on top switches between vertical and horizontal scroll.
- Volume and timer modes: Flash new firmware to turn it into a volume knob with tap-to-mute, or a timer whose LED ring shows progress.
- CNC spindle control: Newer firmware lets CNC users set VFD spindle speed and switch the spindle on or off.
- Custom lighting and feel: The Windows config app adjusts RGB colors, brightness, and scroll sensitivity. Changes apply instantly without unplugging.
- Plug-and-play USB-C: It works on Windows, Mac, and Linux with no drivers, using your own USB-C data cable, since none is included.
