PUDU D5 Quadruped Delivery Robot: Overview
PUDU D5 is an industry-grade quadruped robot built for delivery and inspection work outdoors. It combines NVIDIA-powered computing with all-terrain legs that handle steps, slopes, and rough ground.
- High-performance computing: NVIDIA Jetson Orin AGX and RK3588 processors deliver up to 275 TOPS, with vapor-chamber cooling for stable operation under heavy workloads.
- 360-degree perception: Dual 96-line LiDARs and four fisheye cameras give centimeter-level positioning, so D5 spots obstacles and adjusts its path in real time.
- All-terrain, all-weather build: D5 climbs 25 cm steps and 45-degree slopes at up to 5 m/s, and its IP67 sealing handles rain, snow, and temperatures from -20°C to 55°C, even with a cold start below -10°C.
- Voice and gesture control: A 6-mic array with noise reduction reads 10+ gestures and spoken commands, and D5 can follow a person through a crowd while dodging obstacles.
D5 shows how far quadruped robots have come, purpose-built for logistics, inspection, security, and demanding outdoor duty in the field.
