🤔 Is It Worth It?

Debate the value of the latest gadgets and whether they truly live up to the hype.

Anyone used AI-powered gimbals like XbotGo?

jameshunt May 02

I’ve been looking into mobile gimbals lately and came across XbotGo. It claims to use AI for auto tracking and stabilization, which sounds pretty solid for the price. Has anyone here tried it or compared it with something like DJI?

I also noticed there’s an xbotgo discount code available online, so I’m thinking of giving it a shot if the feedback’s good. Would love to hear your thoughts.

I’ve had a chance to try out the XbotGo, and for the price, it’s actually a pretty solid option—especially if you’re just getting into mobile videography. The AI auto-tracking works decently well in good lighting and for slower movements. It’s not quite on the same level as DJI’s tracking (especially something like the Osmo Mobile 6), which is noticeably smoother and more reliable overall, especially for fast or erratic movement.

Stabilization-wise, XbotGo does the job for casual use, but again, DJI tends to feel more refined and responsive in its gimbal movements. That said, if you’re on a budget or just want a simple setup for casual content creation, XbotGo is a good pick—especially if you can grab a discount code to make it even more affordable.

If professional-level performance is a priority, I’d lean toward DJI. But if you’re looking for solid features at a more wallet-friendly price, XbotGo is definitely worth a shot.

Thanks for the insights, Martin.

I tried out the XbotGo recently and had a pretty good experience overall. The AI tracking worked well for casual use, and stabilization was solid for basic shoots. It’s not quite DJI level, but for the price, I think it holds up nicely.

Interestingly, a friend of mine used it too and was also impressed. He found a good deal using an <a class="" href=" removed link " target="_new" rel="noopener" data-start="481" data-end="538">XbotGo discount, which made it even more worth it.

For casual creators or those on a budget, I’d say it’s a solid choice.

Hey James,

Yeah man, I’ve seen a couple of folks using the XbotGo recently. I tested it out during a college fest and honestly, the AI tracking was way better than I expected at that price. It’s not on the same level as DJI when it comes to smoothness and build, but it holds up pretty well if you’re just shooting casual content or even some basic vlogs.

Also, if you're into recording gameplay or reviewing gear, you might wanna check out Epingi and Gamerroof. Both have some cool posts around budget tech and tools for creators. Steamturn is also worth a scroll if you’re into PC stuff they share a lot of insights on setups and performance tweaks.

Let us know what you pick, and if that XbotGo discount works out!
