10 IFA 2026 gadgets I’d actually buy for Christmas

IFA 2026 was full of practical, fun, and yes, downright weird gadgets and concepts. But honestly, one of the things I love most about IFA is its timing: it’s the last major electronics show before the holiday shopping season kicks into full gear, which makes it a surprisingly good source of Christmas tech gifts.

I should note, though, that not everything unveiled at IFA is available to buy. Some gadgets won’t arrive until 2027, while others may never make it beyond the concept stage. So I went through the IFA 2026 lineup with a more practical question in mind: which gadgets would I (and could I) actually buy for Christmas?

This is the gadget I can imagine someone opening on Christmas morning and immediately saying, “Wait…what is this?” The RugOne Xsnap 7 Pro combines a rugged smartphone with a detachable action camera.
