It’s often said that quality is worth paying for. In many cases, this holds true. You often get what you pay for, and investing in items that will endure makes a lot of sense.
However, you don’t necessarily need to break the bank in order to acquire quality or even luxury. The new Anselton Sundate watch proves this point, offering stunning design at an affordable price. It’s the best way to add a little luxury to your look.
What is the best new watch brand?
Thanks to the success of crowdfunding, many small startups have entered the watchmaking game in recent years. In fact, some of the most successful projects on Kickstarter and IndieGoGo have been those promoting watches.

While it’s difficult to choose which of these is the most exciting, Anselton is definitely a great new watch brand. Based in India, this startup is about to release a stunning new timepiece named Sundate.
The watch is made from durable 316L stainless steel, with sapphire crystal glass protecting a handsome analog face. Everything about the Sundate feels luxurious, from the presentation box to the genuine Italian leather strap.

Although the Sundate is a premium watch, it doesn’t come at a premium price. The crowdfunding price will be very affordable, and anyone who signs up in advance of the campaign will get $250 off on launch day.
A little luxury
It’s not only that the Anselton Sundate looks the part. Closer inspection reveals good design choices and high-quality components throughout the watch.
The name Sundate comes from a small dial on the face, which counts the days of each month. The upper half of this small dial changes to represent the rising sun and moon. It’s a beautiful detail that adds something special to the overall design.
If you were to open the case, you would reveal a Japanese Miyota 9015 automatic movement. This apparatus has 24 jewels and a power reserve of 42 hours, providing reliable timekeeping for decades.
In cosmetic terms, the Sundate will be available in two different finishes: Rose Gold and Silver.
“A watch brand drawing inspiration from the grand masters of watchmaking, but then taking their work and their philosophies a step further. Every step of the way, we have chosen the best components.” — Anselton on IndieGoGo
Perfect timing
The name might mean nothing now, but you will soon be bragging to your friends about being an early Anselton adopter. This is a watch brand that’s going places.
