Enhanced 3D motion detection

With 3D motion detection, you can set precise boundaries for where you want the Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 to pick up movement. This upgrade helps to eliminate unwanted notifications that could otherwise become irritating. And this technology allows you to exclude areas that are prone to a lot of activity, such as a busy street or section of the garden where the dog explores. Therefore, you’ll only receive motion alerts for areas that you’ve specified.

Bird’s eye view for a full picture

Part of the Video Doorbell Pro 2 upgrade includes bird’s eye view technology. This allows you to show an aerial map of your property, including where someone came from and headed. As a result, you’ll get a bigger picture of what happened.

Ring’s latest smart doorbell also features an impressive 150 x 150-degree field of view. And you’ve also receive a head-to-toe view that lets you see your guests clearly. These upgrades let you see the subject clearly along with the background.

HD resolution camera for improved image quality

Perhaps the most important aspect of a smart doorbell is the image quality. The Video Doorbell Pro 2 boasts a 1536 p HD video resolution, compared to the Pro’s 1080 HD quality.

With this enhancement, you’ll receive sharper videos. And with color night vision, the pictures will be crisp and clear day and night.

Smart Response features for when you don’t feel like talking

You’re not always going to feel like talking to the delivery man or neighbors when they approach your door. And sometimes you can’t afford to lose your focus by talking to a guest. And the Pro 2 makes this perfectly acceptable with Smart Response.

Use Alexa Greetings—a voice service that lets you leave instructions for leaving a package, greet visitors, and take messages. It’s the perfect addition to moments when you don’t want to be disturbed but don’t want to miss a delivery service either.

You’ll also receive access to Quick Replies—a service that acts as an answering machine for your voice, so visitors can leave a message without communicating with you personally.
