How to Capture Your Adventures in 4K with the Moment Foldable Drone

Many of us harbor dreams of traveling the world. And whenever you tick another location off your bucket list, it’s nice to bring home some photographic memories. While simple smartphone snapshots can tell much of the story, they often don’t capture the majesty of your surroundings. This is where Moment — a foldable drone with 4K video capabilities — can make all the difference. This compact quadcopter captures your adventures from above, with neat tracking features and stable flight. What’s more, it folds flat for storage.

– On-board camera captures stunning 4K footage and 12MP photos

– Auto-tracking keeps you in frame, while panorama mode takes in the view

– Foldable design with rotor guards to protect your fingers

Foldable Drone

Drone technology has moved at lightning speed over the past few years. Features that once seemed futuristic can now be found in $30 toy-shop models. As a result, the big brands have been forced to innovate and find new ways to impress budding pilots.

Moment doesn’t do anything that hasn’t been done before. But this foldable drone offers great specs at a rock-bottom price. It lets you take breathtaking footage and stunning photos with a few taps. The drone then folds down small for storage, which will please backpackers and folks wanting to travel light.

Flying Camera

Many drones try to be all things to all people. As a result, you end up paying for racing drone speed and cinema-quality video in the same package. That’s pretty stupid.

In contrast, Moment knows its own game. This drone is a dedicated flying camera, complete with 4K video. It produces crisp footage, aided by the electronic image stabilization system. Image quality does start to dip in sympathy with light levels, but drone flying is a daytime activity.

Once the drone is aloft, you can choose what you want to capture. The companion smartphone app, for iOS and Android, offers several different shooting modes. You can tap on faces to take eye-level portraits, or use panorama mode to explore the vista.

Alternatively, you can use Moment’s auto-follow feature. This mode allows you to tag yourself, and ask the drone to follow your every move. The resulting videos can be epic — showing your progress along a scenic mountain path, for instance.

Along with video, the Moment drone takes impressive still 12MP images. In fact, the makers of this quadcopter are targeting the selfie crowd.

Clever Quadcopter

Aside from being an impressive camera, the Moment drone is also a very capable flyer. The drone can ascend to 65 feet and remain stable without human help. The top speed is 11 mph, and you can easily dictate the flightpath from your phone.

Once your 15 minutes of flight time has elapsed, the arms fold inwards for easier storage. In this state, the Moment drone measures just 50mm thick (under 2 inches).

No disassembly is required, and the drone retains its safety rotor guards.

“Moment drone features high-performance camera that delivers 4K UHD 25fps video and 12-megapixel images. Not to mention it offers multiple shooting modes: Sweep Panorama mode, Continuous capture mode, Delay capture mode. The Moment will become your personal self-flying photographer!” — Moment Drone on IndieGoGo
