Spool Dock Just Made Your iPhone Stand a Lot More Sophisticated

How much time do you spend charging your iPhone every day? For some it may be a few minutes while for others it may stretch to a few hours. But have you noticed how messy your table or work desk becomes for those few hours a day? The entire credit for that mess goes to your Lightning Cable! Do you really feel it’s justified to have that clutter around when you’ve been so concerned about keeping your desk tidy with proper storage items all this while!

Spool Dock review

What you probably need here is a stylish docking station that won’t take up much space but will definitely serve the purpose you bought it for. If you see the already available docking stations out there, you’ll notice that most of them are too tech-prone in design and doesn’t really match up with the otherwise simple home decor items you have. Say, for example, your ceramic planters or a beautiful vintage print on the wall will not blend with a super tech phone stand on the desk. You need something more natural…You need a Spool Dock.

A Natural Design For Your Home

As described by co-founder Jeremy Saxton on Dezeen, “Most tech accessories try to mimic the devices they hold, but knowing that a dock is only used for a small fraction of the day I wanted to create an object that felt at home in the home. Similar to a nice vase, I wanted it to look right whether it was being used or not.” What will attract you towards this dock is the simplicity of its design. It’s as if you’re connected to the digital world in a more human like way.

Spool Dock review

The Spool Dock has been designed to work as a display and charging stand for your iOS devices. Since it’s compatible with Apple’s Lightning Connector, you can use it to dock your iPhone 6, 6 plus, 5, 5s, 5c as well as the iPad mini and 5th generation iPod touch. The way it displays your phone makes it a complete scene you would love to have on your desk every day.

Spool Dock

North American Hard Wood + Merino Wool Felt

The dock has been crafted in USA using North American hard woods, merino wool felt and a weighty metal base. The combination is so natural and gorgeous that you’ll be more than happy to have them on your desk and that too, by not bringing home some super tech accessory.

When not in use, you can swivel the dock to keep your cable far from being a mess on the table. It looks organized and a beautiful piece of accessory on display for the rest of the day. The next time you want to use it, swivel the base and unwind the Lightning Cable to charge your device once again.

Spool Dock for Apple Devices

Easy One-Handed Docking and Undocking

There are micro-suction pads on the base of the dock together with three points of contact enabling proper device stability and easy one-handed docking and undocking. You can accommodate your Apple devices with or without case. In order to increase space for the latter, simply take out the support bars and turn them around. The dock is currently available in two combinations: White and Maple Spool Dock and Black and Walnut Spool Dock.
