Nimble is the only travel adapter you will ever need
When you start crossing continents, keeping your devices charged can be a struggle. The Nimble 35W travel adapter makes things much easier, with multiple ports and pin layouts that work in 150 countries around the world.
- How many different wall socket types are there? There are 14 different layouts in the world. Each is given a single letter name, from Type A to Type N.
- Can you use US chargers in Europe? Yes, with the right travel adapter. The only exception is small items with a heating element, which may need a voltage converter.
- Can one travel adapter cover the world? Many can now cover multiple regions. Nimble is a great example, with pin layouts for 150 nations.
You might not consider power adapters to be a major part of your luggage. After all, they seem quite small individually. But put together the chargers for your phone, your tablet, your laptop, and your camera — plus travel adapters for each plug — and you have a bag full of cables. So, what is the alternative? Nimble is a compact travel adapter with the ports, and the output power, to charge all your devices at top speed. Better still, it works in 150 countries around the world.
What is the best way to charge your gadgets abroad?
Given the progress humankind has made, you would have thought we could agree on a single electrical plug. Sadly, nothing could be further from the truth. There are 14 different socket types around the world, and many carry different voltages.
If you plan to visit more than one country, it’s a good idea to invest in a universal adapter. Nimble is one of the best we have seen. No bigger than a standard plug, this versatile travel adapter has two USB-C ports and three standard USB ports on board. In addition, you get a standard power outlet.
But that’s not all. Nimble provides support for USB Power Delivery — essential for charging laptops — and Quick Charge technology. The latter means you can charge an iPhone XS to 50% in just 30 minutes.

Safety and slimness
In some parts of the world, power cuts and surges are common. Without protection, your devices may suffer a terrible fate when such incidents occur.
That’s why Nimble has an 8A fuse. If anything goes wrong, the travel adapter will keep your devices safe.
When it comes to travel, size is important. To maintain a slim form, Nimble has pins and prongs that withdraw inside the adapter. In addition, the device is tough enough to endure even a rough journey in the hold.
“The Nimble utilizes 2 independent circuit boards to power the main plug, the USB-C PD/QC and the 3x USB-A/1x USB-C output – resulting in dedicated power through its USB-C QC/PD port to ensure optimized charging for all QC and PD compatible devices.” — iBlockCube on Kickstarter
What we ❤️
Being able to charge six devices from one adapter means huge space savings in your luggage. Furthermore, Nimble is very versatile and durable.
Future designs
Nimble offers great coverage for the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Africa. However, we would love to see a version for Australasian trips!
