@creator you answered me on Nov 4th but probably we didn’t understand each other when I was referring to the Plantronics functionality. The Plantronics Voyager when you have an incoming call says (and you hear from the buds): “call from XYZ. Answer or reject?” where XYZ is the name of the person as per you contacts, if you don’t have it in your contact list it spells the number. It’s a great function, you don’t have to play with your buds trying to find the micro buttons, if you have your hands dirty you don’t have to touch them.... if you are driving or if you are on a scooter, your hands will stay where they have to stay! It’s life changing, think about it, it should be very heady to implement on the existing architecture and it will make your buds the best ones on the market!
Do it and you’ll kick everybody else asses PS: I’m in Barcellona next Monday (Nov 27th) is it possibile to meet you guys?

I find that mentality of "first backers should get it first" dumb as a bag of rock. I mean so what, because you leave on a different time zone and saw the project first then you are entitled to get it before someone who's asleep by that time or working? It doesn't make any sense from that point of view and appear even more stupid when you think about the inconvenience logistic wise of sending it by number instead of doing it by country, and I am saying that while I live in New Zealand and therefore usually get things towards the end.
Shikhar Shah
I just read another review of these. Haven’t been this excited for a product in a long time
Wolf Wolfinger
So hopefully you will ship to the early backers first...

@travis not at all, it is very common for kickstarter campaigns to then go on Indiegogo. And just to clarify it, the money you see on there is the total including what they earned on kickstarter. Also worth noticing that Indiegogo campaign usually get their products after kickstarter's backers
Travis
Anyone find it odd that they are now running an indiegogo campaign?

@Torge Petersen - Any product that has Bluetooth 5.0 hardware is backwards compatible with other version of Bluetooth technology. So if you're pairing it tot a phone that only has BT 4.2 it will only put out the power of 4.2.
Sandrine Morin
+1 for Apple Watch supported app
Jos Janssen
@torge peterson @harry gave you your answer 4 comments back. Yes, 4.2 is compatible also. It is up to 5
Torge Petersen
hey EOZ team (prob. you already had the question a few times but i didng found it soz :D) is just bluetooth 5 supportet or will 4.2 aswell?
FLASH
Hi all backers, anyone out there own an Apple Watch series 3 (with LTE / cellular connection) ? Whomever do would you like to see a supported Apple Watch App for the EOZ? Imagine selecting EQ, music genre sound type, etc (everything built into the iPhone App) BUT big difference being you can select ALL of these options independently of a Bluetooth / Wifi Phone connection yet directly from your Apple Series 3 LTE or Samsung Gear S3 smartwatch!!!
Dhruv Mehta
Hey EOZ, where are we for the photos or videos of the Air with different colours? Will you release the photos before the survey is sent out?
Harry
@Mike
They already said that they are probably going to try have a pouch that allows us to carry the earphones more easily. And theyve already commented on sound quality with comments such as:
"Sound is indeed still a priority. Contrary to what one might think, improving the audio doesn't come much from the bluetooth signal or protocol but most importantly from the kind of driver (size and quality), the acoustic room you have in your earbuds and how you tune them.
So whether one use Bluetooth 5.0 or 4.2 won't really change anything at this point.
Don't worry, we will emphasize our efforts on the audio."
Mike
Forgot to mention the promise of no compromise in sound quality is the reason why i chose this.
Mike
For me the whole point of buying wireless earphone is ease and comfort.
If I have to carry 1 inch thick bulk in my pant pocket on a day to day basic, it will be really uncomfortable.
Two things i wish creators solve- to make the charging case as thin as possible, may be half an inch. Personally i don't care if it can provide 48hr charging time or 20 hr juice. Compact and portability is more crucial for be.
If earphones can provide solid 5/6 hr on a single charge, it'd be more practical.
Derek
10 secs of reading the campaign would have brought you to the section where they mentioned the battery life illustrated with a picture for easy understanding, just saying.
Marcus Nguyen
@Wohlert The 4 hour battery life is always a debatable topic. Many commenters on the internet (IDK how much you can trust them) quote that it simply isn't enough, especially with the AirPods that received negative remarks for this. On a personal level, I can tell you two things: 1) I rarely, if ever, hit the full 4 hour battery life on my AirPods; it's actually difficult for me to hit 3 hours 2) If I do hit this 3-4 hour mark, listening fatigue kicks in and kind of kills the entire listening process anyways. I have also tested this on international flights (3 18-24 hour flights) over the summer (using the AirPods as reference) and had no issues with them. I spent much of the time watching Netflix using the AirPods and listening to music a couple hours after take off and for landing. I took them off and charged them in the case (like I do all my truly wireless headphones) when I ate. The only downside I found for airlines is that the AirPods were passive isolation and not great from that perspective forcing me to increase the volume 1 or 2 clicks (for a total of 43.75-50% total volume). Although it'd be totally awesome if they could hit an 8-10 hour battery life, 4 is totally doable. 3 is a little tougher, but still doable. However, the main issues I've had regarding battery life point towards the amount of charge the case provides. I rarely have to remember to charge my AirPods as the case lasts over 40 hours total listening time (this can last me nearly 2 weeks). The Sony WF-1000x on the other hand only offer a total of 9 hours listening time which means I have to charge them at least twice a week which gets quite annoying. These quote 48 total hours with the case which would easily last me over 2 weeks (if their numbers are trustable). Note that I'm only a single blip when it comes to statistics and everyone else's mileage will vary. I do hope that my experiences with truly wireless headphones help you out.

@Evan If I remember well you get a message from Kickstarter if the payment didn't went through. But if you're not sure best way is to check your bank account and the money should have left within 24h after the end of the campaign. Bare in mind that if you don't use USD the amount might be slightly different (in my case it was a couple of dollars less haha)
Ulfhedinn
@Carlos Honestly people just need how to read a campaign. I took me only a minute to go through the FAQ and fin a very clear explanation. They did a very good job with the whole campaign and nothing was misleading. I just think some people should use their time to actually read about the product they back instead of just putting money on it before complaining :) "➡ How long does the battery last ?
You can expect a solid 4 hours in average but depending on your use, you get to 4-5 hours. The charging case will provide an additional 48 hours of music while on the go."
Carlos Lopez
I think people might have been mislead by the advertisement of the battery life. Not a problem with me personally as I can charge during a lecture. But I think people, especially those not familiar with wireless earphones assumed the 48hr battery life was the earphones themselves on a single charge. I think this should've been made clear and not hidden in the FAQs
Wohlert
are 4h play time not a bit short?
I cant use them when they charge in the case.
Even my more tiny mono headset from jabra has 6hours play time.
Evan Tobias
How do we know if our payment didn’t go through? I’m pretty sure mine did, but just curious....
Eric Long
Any update on the multipoint connection and touch button?
Harry
@Craig Reilly
i believe it does have both a usb-c and a usb-a port
Elvina Jouw
If I were to play music non-stop, how long does it take before you feel the earbuds heat up? I noticed that's the issue with earbud models, they heat up after few minutes of use. Which part heats up, the entire earbud or just the copper part or elsewhere?
Craig Reilly
@harry - how can you turn cable around to use to charge a phone? Does charging case have both usb-c and usb-a jacks?
EOZ Audio
Hi @All, We've just published an update that should cover a lot of the questions we see popping here. Make sure to read it until the end. Cheers,
Hamid & the EOZ Team

@David Thank you for your information. Ya, I didn’t read it at all. To save my time, I love to ask directly in what I am interested. Have a nice day.
Valeriy Primak
Any news? Why they mute?
David
@Victor ip did you even read the campaign? It says right in the beginning it supports the latest aptX and creator has clarified that it supports aptX HD
Victor Ip
Seems it is not going to support aptX. Or already within Bluetooth 5.0 ?
Zachie
Kickstarter pledges cannot be refunded.
Mike
@creator
Kindly let know if pledge can be cancelled and get refunded.
Anson Chiu
Yup- i was referring to the silver part that gets stuck in the ear...
Keven Lee
Conversion rate from USD to SGD is tremendous... Paid extra $40.... -.-
Parthasarathi Naik
$ 417 USD charged instead of $399USD. $8 USD for exchange rate and bank charges in INDIA!!!! Hope they will not charge any importation fee :-( Super excited to unbox eoz air in February-March ;-)
ako_ay_bisaya
Please let me know if I my pledge was cancelled already. This is really important to me as I have no need for this earphones at the moment. I don't want to get charged for this but will be looking into your next earphone if it'll fit my needs.
Emily
@harry I think @anson chiu meant the section in the ear where the silver edition in particular would potentially not be a direct match for the arm and may wear over time being coated plastic instead of metal. This was my first choice initially but after learning the in ear section wasn’t going to be a matched metal I have since changed my mind.
Harry
@Anson Chiu
They said this a while ago:
"They won't corrode, they're treated with a spcial PVD treatment that you can find in high-end watches and jewelries . The tubes on the the EOZ One I have been using for a year don't show any signs of wears."
Not sure it answers the specific part of the earphones you are talking about though

AeoV
Has anyone received a survey yet?
Anson Chiu
@creator - will the fake chrome/silver finish on the plastic rub off over time?
René Kretzschmar
What about transparacy mode? That would really be a cool feature.
Andy
Hey EOZ do you consider to have a color pairing with white (not silver) and black?
Chiu Chiu Sam
@Simon Patnick I think they will send survey to us before shipping.
Mike
@He's Kelvin I have double kickstarter special $179. Interested?
Simon Patnick
How do I make my selection of colour and shipping address?
Thanks Simon
Harry
@Mike
They are also looking into the possibility of a carry case that would possibly make it easier to carry it around for when you know you wont need to recharge it soon.
Harry
@Mike
They said a while ago that:
"Increasing the battery this much would increase too much the dimension of the case, and would require way too much development for us to be able to stick to our road map. From our tests, you can already expect a solid average of 4 hours of playtime if not more depending on how you use the earphones." and "For true wireless, 4 hours is pretty standard"
Harry
@creator
Since you said that you are putting a little bit of emphasize on the bass, will there be a setting that allows the earphones to be have a more natural audio?
