@Timothy:
1) Yes, you sacrifice any of your piles' top card in exchange to a chosen opponent's top card. You are allowed to look at your own cards so you can know the card you sacrifice.
2) It is placed face down. Your opponents needs to remember that you placed a Wall card.
3) 2 cards must be on seperate piles. Both of the cards must be "top" cards.
4) It doesn't have to be a top card for the "Peek" Strategy card. You can go for the GG card and if you are lucky enough, you can find it :)
5) We'll launch Roar of War again. Still working on the campaign, it should be on Kickstarter in around 1 month. I'll post an update when we have a launch date. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

@Gizco Sacrifice strategy card: Sacrifice 1 of your top cards in exchange for an opponent's top card. It's now the next player's turn. 1. Do I discard (sacrifice) any of my piles' top card and "exchange" the chosen opponent's top card face down or face up on any of my piles? Wall strategy card: Place this card on top of one of your piles and play. 2. Wall is placed face up on the chosen pile? Spy x2 strategy card: Look at any opponent's 2 top cards of your choice. Everyone can see the cards. It's now the next player's turn. 3. Just to clarify, We cannot we look at the top card from two separate piles, only the 2 top cards of the same pile, as the artwork portrays. Peek strategy card: Look at any opponent's 1 card of your choice. It's now the next player's turn. 4. Does this allow a top card only peek, or can we look at the bottom card, or even a middle card? Crazy question, right?

@Gizco Of course. Thank you. I should have just watched the video sooner. Sorry if I created any confusion. I nuked the rules too much. I assumed that 'GG Card' was the back of every card. I also assumed 'Attaining' was the same as winning at a challenge which caused GG cards be discarded. When reading the Challenging Rules, at the bottom, I took 'GG card is not for challenging' also meant not 'to be challenged'.

@Timothy: That is correct, if your GG card is challenged, you lose the game. Actually, it is stated in the "Goal" section: "The goal is to eliminate the rivals by attaining their GG cards."

@Gizco I just watched the GG campaign video (which I only watched once when I was convinced to back GG) and, sure enough, the video clearly explained the GG card. @Lauren you're right that the rules sheet doesn't address that if your GG card is challenged you lose immediately, or if you challenge an opponents GG card you eliminate that opponent.

@Gizco Is that true? If you challenge the opponents GG card, then the opponent immediately loses? So strategically the player's GG card should be placed at the very bottom of one of the 4 decks.

Most people seemed to just understand this, but 3 of us were playing last night and didn't see anything in the rules about what happens if your GG card is challenged (I only learned by reading comments here). The rules were clear that it is not to be used for challenging, but then said nothing else about it. Would probably be helpful to have explicit language that if your GG card is challenged, you lose.

Played GG for the first time last night, went very well and everyone enjoyed it, only issue I had is that I got two different sets, one with orange cards and one with red, however after the game splitting up the discard pile was very hard as the red and orange colours are sooo alike. The game was great though!

@Andrew: "And play" means it's still that players turn. S/he can challenge with any card or play other Strategy Cards. We tried to put "and play" or "it's still your turn" or "it's now the next player's turn" into the Strategy card texts, first two means, that player keeps playing. Sorry for the confusion.

I got mine, nice quality packaging (foam lining in the card box was unexpected but nice). One thing my friends and I were not clear on with some of the strategy card wording: what does one mean when it says "and play" such as with the 'Odds in your Favor' card. Does that mean you continue to challenge or that you 'play' the Strategy cards that you just picked up into your hand (in this example). Thanks again!

My wooden box came damaged (in Europe) but I think a little bit of glue will be enough to fix it.
It was in a simple enveloppe with air bubble but the package was broken.
Anyway when I see the comments I can't wait to play with my family :)

@Creator Got it, I will have to think of something good for that, like swap an opponent's top card on a pile with the bottom one. We just played a game with 3 players and we all had fun! Btw, I think it says some good things on game and card art design when my 4 year old, after watching us play for a few rounds, came over and asked to play and was able to pick up on the rules and successfully played a few rounds for her mother, so props for that too!

@Christian: Blank cards were a Stretch goal. We thought, you'd want to add your own touch to the game or replace any damaged cards if something wrong happens to them. Losing just 1 card can be a real problem so the blank cards can be a life saver. Thank you for your kind comment.

My wooden box set arrived safe and sound. In my case, my wooden box was encased inside a cardboard box and did not showed any sign of wear and tear. Unlike most commenters, I am impressed by the both the wooden box, card foam and plastic wrapping of decks, and more importantly, pretty sweet card art and game. Looking forward to play right now... Small question, each deck seems to come with 2 extra cards which are blank on the front... Are these used in any way?

I appreciate your attention to customer service... The cards all arrived and opened and reboxed will be completely playable. I will do some copying with cut and paste to excise the expansions rules. The community I live in is very sensitive to alcohol especially coming from a teacher... I was going to use the extra decks for AR prizes but I don't do prizes that are opened and look used. Cards are nice, here, and the base game is fun.

@Naomi: Bottoms Up is just an expansion, you can remove the cards and play the normal game with the rest of the cards. You are right about the box, it says + Bottoms Up Expansion but the rules should not be a problem since the expansion deck is just an expansion. Once again, sorry for sending your sets with the expansion.

It is unfortunate that I backed a Rock, Paper, Scissors game and clearly chose not to get the drinking game... and now have three copies of a game that is a drinking game. I use these often at school and live in a community that is dry. Clearly too few people backed the non-drinking version and the drinking game was just sent to everyone.I was under the impression I could just take the cards out, however, the drinking game is on the box and integrated into the rules. A no go. Disappointed.

Got mine today (US). If you're looking for shipping damage data points, the bottom of my box was split in half, but both sides of the split are still solidly anchored to the walls, so the structure still seems pretty solid. Mine was shipped in the cardboard mailer, which is a nice, solid shipping container, so if I would guess that my wooden box was already damaged when it was packaged. I'm not that worried about it, because it's not falling apart. It wouldn't hold water, but then I'm not planning on filling it with water!

@Pete: You place your piles strategically. I suggest you to place your GG card as the last card of a pile. Yes the game is over for your if your GG card is challenged.

so when youre making your 4 piles, do you place them strategically, or are you not supposed to look and deal them out into 4 piles randomly? Also, how do you know where to place the one GG card? is the game over when that card is challenged?
