With the OROS Orion Series, you can now get rid of those bulky winter wear and switch to a new range of apparel that is thin but equally warm. This series features jackets, beanies, gloves, and snow pants insulated with aerogel– the same stuff NASA uses to insulate their space suits!! Buying an Orion Series product by OROS gives you a warmer, slimmer, sleeker product than the competition. The idea was to come up with a design you can wear at the top of a mountain and even at home. Those plenty of layers you used to keep yourself warm during winters will now be replaced by a thin, fashionable gear with no layers. Using the same insulation NASA used in their space suits and space shuttles, OROS brings you its line of thin, warm performance apparel. Aerogel is the lowest thermal conductive solid on the planet which does make it the best insulator in existence. OROS makes use of this beauty to turn your winter wear into a comfortable as well as stylish solution.

I'm trying to reach you since October for the custom charges return
as you promised...
- weight: a lot heavier than expected, about as heavy as my full-sized Eddie Bauer Gore-tex, full down Ridgeline parka and that's a heavy coat.
- main zipper: low quality, should have been proper, hefty YYK zippers with larger teeth and a stronger pull as these will be pulled on with regularity and I can see these falling apart after a year or two at which point I'll be sending back for warranty service.
- stitching: some stitches are starting to come apart already. There should have been double-stitching at all the high stress and wear points which doesn't seem to be the case. I also have had the stitching in the interior deepest corner of the lower left pocket already break through and I only put a thin OD green army issue wool glove liner in there.
- pockets: the number of pockets is good but they all seem to not be very deep. I don't know how you can stuff your hat, gloves, and neck gator/scarf anywhere except down the sleeves unless you want to have massively bulgey pockets where the zippers might fail.
- additional duck pocket would have been great to stuff the hat/gloves/scarf if there's no way to make deeper pockets.
- velcro: seems to be good stuff but definitely needs to be double-stitched or "x"- stitched as these will fall apart over time from all the pulling/tugging.
- fingerless glove/sleeves: great idea and actually warm, but very tight to pull over my hands and makes looking at my watch impossible.
- wind-stop waist-cinching thing inside: great idea, once again the stitching's coming apart. Single-stich = bad, double/triple-stitch = good for high wear points. The pros for this coat are: stylish, very streamlined profile, with good materials. Not so good is the execution of the build/design; primarily the stitching. Better thread and double-stitching is a MUST!
