Anicorn Order Swiss Movement Minimalist Watch

Look at time in a unique way with the Anicorn Order Swiss Movement Minimalist Watch. Inspired by New York City, this timepiece reframes the way we see how time passes. In fact, the Order doesn’t have any watch hands. The simple design features a perforated watch face with a dot at each hour. Similarly, the small grooves on the frame mark 15-minute increments. The Swiss Ronda Caliber 512 Quartz movement allows the watch to spin smoothly to deliver the exact time. Furthermore, the watch comes with three different watch face color options including white, black, and red. The Order has watchstraps that are easily interchangeable, making it easy to change your look. Designed for both women and men, the minimalist watch fits any wrist size with its 40mm case size.

Same question here. What kind of glass will ve used if the stretch goal is not met?
Review from Kickstarter
Good question. Was that changed or that remark always there? I assumed it is sapphire regardless a stretch goal. Would also like this to be clarified.
Review from Kickstarter
Awesome design!
Halfway the campaign section, on the photo with the components is written that sapphire glass will be used if the first stretch goal is met. What kind of glass do you plan to use if you don't reach that goal?

J'ai publié un post sur le réseau LINKEDIN pour faire découvrir cette montre au design minimaliste et à l'affichage de l'heure très original.

Wailly- you convinced me. I can see how it would make it quicker to see the time.

Or, put it this way. At 0:30 half-past, with only 4 dots, it would be lopsided. And I'd rather not seeing it lopsided. (Sorry, if my OCD kicks-in...)

The 5-dots make sense for viewing time at a glance. Ppl tends to follow the dot (on the dial) to track time passes. Think of all 5 dots as a scale. O:30 is right at centre dot. Less chance of confusion.

I had the same question when I saw the five dots. I realize that the fifth dot marks the typical 1:00 position and references five minutes but I’m not convinced it needs to be there.

Ok so it is the concept of the pattern
Review from Kickstarter
I would interpret the fifth dot as following. Because always 2 inner dots are at the first and last one. If it's 2 the 2 is on the first while the 1 is on the last dot. Last dot has only the meaning that the last hour is past. Sth like that I guess
Review from Kickstarter
Agreed with PTR, but I would favour not the elimination of the 5th dot, but its differentiation from the other 4. Somehow, I let the Creators come up with a convenient solution (if they concur, of course)

Love NYC and love this concept but why are there 5 time dots? I understand 1:00, 1:15, 1:30, 1:45 then as the 2:00 rolls around, the 1 hits the 5th dot and ? So why the 5th dot? Seems like it doesn’t have a meaning when the 1 rolls to it...?
Otherwise the watches are very cool
