The DelRay Watch Complements Your Look with Vintage Flair

Take a look at your wrist. Your watch – does it reflect your personality? Match your style? Channel your inner dapper self? Are you even wearing a watch? A watch should do all of the above while providing you with effortless and precise timekeeping. And, my friends, that is exactly what the DelRay Watch does.

The DelRay is an auto-quartz watch by McDowell Time. Inspired by the traditional WWI trench watches, the DelRay is elegant and stylish with its vintage look.

What you’ll instantly notice about the DelRay is the custom 44mm case. Complete with a vintage round shape and custom lugs, this watch makes a statement without overpowering your wrist or the rest of your style. Beneath the sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating is a sleek and clean dial with easy to read numbers and notches.

The DelRay is powered by a Japanese hybrid auto-quartz movement. This means it has the benefits of both automatic and quartz. Named the YT57, this movement uses a small capacitor to store energy which is then applied to power the quartz portion. In addition to being extra precise, the DelRay gives you a front row seat to the movement thanks to a glass case backing.

The DelRay is available with your choice of a white, black, or blue watch face. The white option has C3 Super-LumiNova applied to the hands so you can view the time even in the dark. The black and blue options also have the material on the hands as well as the numbers. Complementing the sleek and clean dial the option of a PVD black coated casing or one made of polished stainless steel.

Assembled by hand in the USA, the DelRay comes with your choice of a 22mm strap. Available in either a deep black or a rich chestnut brown leather, the strap is complete with padding, contrasting stitching, and is water resistant. As a part of their crowdfunding, a stretch goal gives the option for your DelRay to come with a nautical inspired Shark strap made of nylon.

Live on Kickstarter until May 26th, the McDowell Time team have nearly hit their $25k goal. Reserve your DelRay watch for just $265, nearly 44% off retail price. Each watch comes with its own leather travel storage case and the units will ship in September.
