LG announces a $3K 4K laser projector with AirPlay support at CES 2021
LG's new laser projector lets you stream shows from Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, and more services. Read this blog to discover how LG's new release works.
Originally announced in August, LG has finally released some specifications for the HU810P 4K UHDat CES 2021—a laser projector that boasts a screen size of up to 300 inches.
With this display capability, it can create an ‘authentic movie theatre experience’, according to the brand. And it can even adapt to the ambient lighting in the room for a chilled evening.
The laser projector fires out bright images
For the optimum viewing experience, the HU810P 4K UHD boasts 2,7000 ANSI lumens that can be used in a ‘typically lit’ living room. And you’ll also receive a 97% DCI-P3 color space. You’ll also have multiple viewing modes to choose from: Dark Room and Bright Room to suit your preferences and environment.
In addition, this 4K laser supports both HDR10 and HLG HDR standards, providing you with a bright, clear picture.
Steam your favorite shows with Apple Airplay
Thanks to WebOS 5.0, the projector supports numerous streaming services, including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Disney Plus, and Hulu. Plus, you can use Apple Airplay for streamlined connectivity from an iOS device.
In addition, with built-in Alexa, you can use the voice assistant to set-up your favorite shows.
It projects smooth motions
LG gifts you with Adaptive Contract, an auto-adjust feature to ensure the image contrast is optimized. And it also comes with TruMotion Mode and Real Cinema Mode. This allows you to watch movies in the exact way they were intended with a frame rate of up to 24 Hz. In fact, TruMotion produces smooth and natural movements during fast-paced shots. This prevents any distortions and blurs.
Finally, this compact projector relies on HDMI 2.1 + eARC and wireless to stream content from Bluetooth-enabled devices. The LG HU810P 4K UHD is coming soon at a reduced price of $2,699.
