The Sound-Reactive Fire Pit Dances to Your Music

The future of entertainment is here. Uniting audio and visual effects, this combination can bring life to any gathering whether it’s a monthly book club or an absolute rager. Introducing the Sound-Reactive Fire Pits.

Developed by Music City Fire Company, the Sound-Reactive Fire Pits are connected and produce mesmerizing flames that actually dance to the beat of your music. They give a whole new meaning to fire tunes.

Yes, you read that correctly. The Sound-Reactive Fire Pit is the first of its kind and can get the party started or even set a visual mood for a dinner party. The idea is modelled after a Ruben’s tube which is an antique physics device that displays acoustic waves in a tube. Developed in 1905, the Ruben’s tube has now come to life with a modern flare (and safety standards).

Connecting to your laptop, computer, tablet, smartphone, or any Bluetooth-enabled device, the Sound-Reactive Fire Pit has a 2.1 channel integrated audio system complete with two speakers and a subwoofer. With four operating modes including sound-reactive, fire & music, fire-only, and music-only, the user-friendly interface makes it easy to get exactly what you want. The digital control panel lets you control the flame height and intensity, mode, and manage the built-in LEDs.

Of course, the Sound-Reactive Fire Pit is entirely safe to use. In addition to the 18V lithium ion battery, the Fire Pit has an auto-ignition, flame-out detection, safety valves, auto shut off, and two-step ignition to ensure your house party doesn’t turn into a house fire.

The Sound-Reactive Fire Pit comes in five styles to suit your home and lifestyle. The Portable Fire Pits are available in small (15 inches) and large (30 inches) and are ideal for tailgating, picnics, camping, the beach, and more. The Fire Column measures two feet tall and works perfectly on your patio when paired with another. Finally, the Trunk is the largest at 60 inches wide and two feet tall. A centrepiece in any backyard, this model has a total of four powerful speakers. Each of these models comes in your choice of reclaimed wood, slate, or zinc for the exterior.

The Sound-Reactive Fire Pit also comes as a DIY Kit in your choice of an 8-inch circular burner or a 24-inch linear burner. Build the system as you’d like to fit in seamlessly with your décor. You can even follow Music City Fire Company on Pinterest for ideas and inspiration. Lastly, the Sound-Reactive Fire Pit can be custom designed and assembled just for you. Working with Rail Yard Studios in Nashville, your fire pit will be one of a kind and will feature a mix of steel and wood.

Live on Kickstarter until October 29th, the Sound-Reactive Fire Pit appears to be on track for its $80k goal. You can reserve the DIY Fire Pit for $249, the 15-inch Portable Fire Pit for $399, or the Custom Fire Pit for $6,999.

These revolutionary fire pits really bring a party to life. Which song would you try first?
