Spending money on clothes isn’t usually a wise investment. While your skinny jeans might be on-trend today, you will probably want to discard them when the next vogue takes over. But when it comes to your outdoor jacket, there should be no expense spared. This coat is your sole protection against the elements, with pockets that carry your travel essentials. A brand named Adv3nture wants to add even more value to your outdoor wardrobe. In the range, you will find windbreakers that turn into travel cushions, and fleeces with cup-holders.
Any weather
As any true adventurer knows, Mother Nature is not always kind. Consequently, it’s pretty essential to dress appropriately for the occasion. In winter, that means layering up. During the summer, a breathable shell should keep you dry and cool.
Adv3nture’s new range of outerwear covers most scenarios. Warmth is provided by the Voyageurs Hoodie and the Badland Fleece. On top, you can choose between the lightweight Wind Cave Windbreaker and the full Glacier Parka.
Each of these garments provides exactly the kind of insulation and weather-proofing you would hope for. But Adv3nture’s unique selling point is usefulness.
Useful jackets
While most technical clothing offers some storage, very few fleeces provide numerous pockets. Likewise, the average overcoat doesn’t have an integrated bottle opener. These are the kind of features you can expect from Adv3nture clothing.

The brand first came to crowdfunding prominence with the Adv3nture Hoodie, which was backed by 13,000 IndieGoGo users. The new version has dedicated pockets for your sunglasses and your passport, along with a microfleece hood. On the front, you will find a neoprene-lined pocket that is specifically designed for drinks. Never again will you need to ask a friend to “hold my beer.”
The Badland Fleece offers many of the same features in a slightly slimmer package. In addition, you get integrated cuff mittens and reinforced elbow pads. Both garments have a concealed bottle opener, and overlock stitching for better durability. Furthermore, they zip into the Adv3nture outer jackets.
Outer smarts
Adv3nture offers two ways to keep out the rain. The Wind Cave Windbreaker is best suited to the warmer seasons, although it can shrug off medium rain. This lightweight shell is very breathable, and it offers most of the same pockets you found in the under layers.
The Glacier Parka looks slightly out of place in this very modern range. However, don’t be fooled by its traditional appearance — this jacket offers all the same protection. In the depths of winter, the quilted lining is very welcome.
Impressively, all four of the garments can be converted into a travel pillow. It probably won’t be the comfiest place you’ve ever laid your skull, but it’s definitely an improvement on rolling up your regular fleece.
“The Adv3nture Jackets were designed for travel, whether you’re commuting across town, or taking a journey around the world. But they’re destined to be your favorite everyday jackets. There are over 23 amazing features on all of the jackets that you’ll wonder how you lived without!” — Adv3nture on IndieGoGo
Clever coats
These jackets are pretty remarkable. Okay, so you might look like the Michelin man if you fill all the pockets. But being able to transport drinks in your top pocket or hunker down for a nap is awesome.
Future Designs
Most outdoor types would really appreciate a map pocket. Then again, you could probably find a suitable pocket among the existing ones.
