The Timeless Design of Jaxon Edwin Watches Will Make You Fall in Love

Great design essentially falls into one of two categories. Some brands try to create something truly new. The results can be spectacular, but these designs do not always stand the test of time. Just because it looks great now doesn’t mean it will be fashionable in 30 years. The other category is the timeless niche. Jaxon Edwin watches definitely fall into this bracket, while still maintaining a cutting-edge feel. The beautiful face of these minimal timepieces might just make you fall in love.

– Large, minimalist faces and brushed steel provide a modern feel

– Swiss Ronda movement keeps perfect time

– Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass ensures the good looks will last

Fall in Love

It’s strange how humans can fall in love with inanimate objects. Our intellect tells us that these items have no feelings, yet we become emotionally attached all the same.

You may have the same experience when you see Jaxon Edwin watches. They are unthinking devices made of steel, but they have all the charm of a family heirloom. They should last a similar length of time, as well.

But don’t think that these watches are stuck in the past. They exhibit the best of modern design, while maintaining that classic feel. Furthermore, you have multiple styles to pick from.

Timeless Design

While the Jaxon Edwin collection is certainly distinctive, it retains a sense of classic elegance. The recurring theme is minimalism, but not to an impractical degree.

The oversized face is relatively stripped back, apart from the prominent numbered hour markers. Rather than the standard 12-3-6-9 arrangement, it’s only the even numbers that are marked. The six is missing, though, with a small date window in its place.

The face may be large, but everything else about these watches is highly refined. The brushed steel case lies almost flat against your wrist, and the crown is embossed with the initials “JE.”

You can find such delightful details everywhere, from the contrasting second hand to the double-domed sapphire crystal. The collection also provides five different colors to choose from. The brushed steel option looks a little sterile, but the other styles are in good taste.

Elegant Timekeeping

Just as importantly, Jaxon Edwin watches do the basics right. The aforementioned sapphire crystal is scratch resistant and treated with an anti-reflective coating.

The band is made from genuine Horween leather. The quality of this hide is outstanding, and the light tanning complements the Jaxon Edwin designs.

The final piece of the puzzle is a reliable Swiss Ronda movement. This keeps perfect time, while also being thin enough to fit inside the sleek n8mm case.

“The design process of the face of the watch didn’t come without trials and failures. We knew our first watch needed to be a militarist watch, but we wanted to work hard to make it as different as possible while remaining simple. To further captivate the spirit of Jaxon Edwin, the back of the case is being engraved with the Main Street of our hometown, Ellicott City.” — Jaxon Edwin on Kickstarter
