Charge All of Your Devices with One Cable – the LMcable

As you have probably surmised, I love gadgets and devices. I love my smartphone, tablets, laptop, smart thermostat, GPS, action camera, DSLR… the list goes on. I tend to bring most of my gadgets with me when I’m out, too. Of course, my phone is always on me and, second to that, I like to keep my Kindle accessible for the odd extended wait time at the doctor’s office, mechanic, vet, etc. Because of my apparent need for a screen, I also have a portable charger along with every single cable I may need. Rummaging through my bag I end up looking like an octopus with cables; any simplification would be ideal and the LMcable does just that.

The LMcable is able to connect and charge both Lightning cable devices from Apple as well as micro USB cable devices. The beauty of it, and what sets it apart from other cables, is that it requires no extra pieces, hardware, or configuration. It just works.

LMcable

You read that correctly. The LMcable has a male USB connector on one end for your laptop, computer, battery, or wall charger. On the other end is a dual-functioning connector that works for Apple and Android devices alike, along with other micro USB devices. That means that I (and you) only have to carry around a single cable to top up the majority of my devices.

Supporting charging as well as super fast data transferring, the tin-plated copper wires are ten times more durable than your standard wires. They’re also covered with a tangle free fabric sleeve to make your life that much easier. The connectors themselves remain compact to work with most cases and sleeves.

LMcable

The LMcable comes in your choice of leather finish, stitched by hand to perfection. It’s available in white, brown, black, and Cowboy Blue (denim). Designed to be taken anywhere, the LMcable also comes with a handy brass buckle belt for neat and tidy storage.

It’s amazing this incredible gadget hasn’t been invented before because it’s just so applicable in our device-filled world. The LMcable is live on Kickstarter until March 31st. For just $21 AUD ($16 USD) you can pledge to reserve your own. Don’t fret, they’ve already demolished their original $5k AUD goal to bits with an amazing $216k AUD and counting so this thing is definitely coming to life. After the campaign, the LMcable should retail for about $25 AUD ($20 USD).
