LG OLED evo G5 TV: A TV with AI Personalization

The LG OLED EVO G5 wowed spectators at CES 2025 with its bright display and advanced AI features. I love the OLED picture quality with inky blacks and vivid, clear colors. At my house, this TV make for movie nights nobody wants to miss.
Meanwhile, I was also impressed by the AI personalization features. These features actually understand and adapt to my audio and visual preferences. Paired with the AI Remote, it’s easier than ever to find the content I’m looking for!

Hisense 116-inch TriChroma: A massive but elegant TV

Measuring 116 inches, the Hisense 116-inch TriChroma will take up a good bit of space in your living room—even if it’s a big one. Unveiled at CES, this entertainment giant is actually pretty sleek and elegant up close.
So what’s under the hood? The Mini LED technology creates a super-wide color gamut that covers 97% of the BT.2020 color space. Plus, with tens of thousands of locally dimming RGB lenses, there’s virtually no halo effect.
Overall, it’s an impressive screen with AI Sound Optimization and a wide viewing angle—every seat in the house will be a great one!

XGIMI Ascend: A concept screen and soundbar combo

While it’s not technically a TV, The XGIMI Ascend 2-in-1 ALR Screen and Soundbar combo made waves at CES 2025 with its cool design. Just a concept product for now, the Ascend is a 2-in1 ALR projector that rises from a large soundbar system. So it has all the benefits of a TV and a projector.
The 100-inch roll-up Ambient Light Rejection screen paired with 2 Harmon Kardon soundbars offers user an easy, classy entertainment experience. Word on the street is, this product could eventually be sold to the public. When it is, I’m ready!

Displace TVs: Wireless TVs with a soundbar

A 2-year-old startup brand, Displace made a name for itself as the maker of completely cordless TVs. It’s a design concept I love—I’m so tired of trying to move sockets and shorten cables every time we get a new TV.
For 2025, Displace has 2 new cordless TVs available: the Displace Pro and the Displace basic. Both can mount themselves to the wall (like their predecessors) via suction cups and they come with a detachable soundbar and a pair of speakers. A cool design just got even more practical!
Price: starts at $249.90
LG StanbyME 2: ultra-portable TV with strap

LG never fails to impress with its StanbyME TV line. Last year’s iteration was a gadgety TV built into a briefcase, the year before it was a TV on a portable stand. Not dropping the ball a bit, the 2025 version is a TV you can carry with you and hang on a wall when you return home.
Featuring a 27-inch 1440p touchscreen, the picture is sharp. Meanwhile tha better life lasts for 4-hours, enough for an afternoon of entertainment.

LG OLED T: A TV like a window
No list of futuristic TVs for 2025 would be complete without the LG OLED T. Yes, it was announced in 2024, but only became available on December 19. So, I’m calling it for 2025.
You’re probablly already familiar with the LG OLED T and it’s ethereal transparent screen. That screen retacts and can morph from black to clear and images on it create a 3D image that’s straight from science fiction.

C SEED M1: A bendable TV for better storage
The dream of interior designers everywhere, the C SEED M1 eliminates the big black rectangle from your living room with it’s bendable design the tucks away into the floor. But, good design doesn’t come cheap. This masterpiece in engineering will set you back at least $400,000.
For those with the means, it’s a TV that brings a stunning feature to luxury homes and bespoke businesses. With a push of a button, this TV rises from the floor, gently and smoothly unfolding to reveal a 165, 137, or 103 inch screen.

Samsung The Frame 2: Improved brightness and clarity

The Frame TVs have been wildly successful since their first release in 2017. It turns out that people love a TV that transforms into wall art when it’s not being used. And I couldn’t agree with them more.
That’s why I’m excited about the latest model in the lineup, The Frame Pro 2. It delivers a Mini LED display for improved brightness, black levels, and contrast. The refresh rate also gets a boost, from 120 Hz to 120 Hz, giving gamers lag-free visuals.

The last line
From LG to Samsung and everything in between, plenty of futuristic TVs are available or are on their way in 2025. I’m particularly excited about the XGIMI Ascend and will update this blog with any possible news!
