This half-mouth toothbrush cleans your teeth perfectly in 20 seconds

In this technological age, it’s almost a given that we’re caring for our teeth in the most advanced way possible. But are we really? To get a proper clean with the traditional toothbrush, you have to brush for the required two minutes, being careful to reach every surface of every tooth. Shouldn’t there be a way to automate and perfect this process? This half-mouth toothbrush offers an answer.

TALO Self Brushing Toothbrush on a Bathroom Sink

Humans have been cleaning their teeth for millennia, starting with the Ancient Egyptians, who used a powder made of ox hooves and eggshells. Thankfully, oral hygiene has come a long way since then, but not as far as you’d think. In the 13th century, the Chinese invented a toothbrush made of animal hairs, remarkably similar to what we use today. But if we’ve got the technology to develop smart bathroom gadgets, we can improve on the original toothbrush. The TALO Self-Brushing Toothbrush, a half-mouth toothbrush, has altered the Middle Age design, for the better.

This oral hygiene gadget ensures every tooth is clean

Imagined and developed by top dentists and engineers, the TALO is a J-shaped, half-mouth toothbrush that cleans your entire mouth in just 20 seconds. Each brushing session provides even strokes with the correct amount of pressure. It even reaches difficult surfaces, which dentists say are the most common areas to develop cavities. What the TALO does sounds complicated, but its operation is simple. Just place this electric toothbrush in your mouth and hold it in place for ten seconds. Then flip it and repeat. This half-mouth toothbrush will cleanse each tooth using short, back-and-forth motions. It automates the ideal way to brush and does it in a shorter amount of time with greater accuracy.

Where can you buy a TALO?

As a bit of an oral health nut myself, this half-mouth toothbrush is a device I’d consider buying. The traditional toothbrush just isn’t as effective. And if we’re honest, few of us make an effort to time our brushing sessions for two minutes. The TALO Self-Brushing Toothbrush takes the guesswork out of your tooth-cleaning and ensures a perfect set of pearly whites, every time. You can pre-order a TALO for $195 on Kickstarter.
