Your party just got a whole lot more naughty

While some parties are wild from the outset, others take a little while to get going. Perhaps you can’t turn the music up too loud, or there are quite a few shy people in the group. In such circumstances, you need a firestarter — something that is going to get everyone laughing.

Enter The Shame of Life. No, we’re not talking about the morning after. This naughty party game gets everyone in the right frame of mind, with prompts that will make you squirm. Just as importantly, it’s easy to play when you’re seeing double.

What is the best NSFW card game?

Over the past few years, NSFW card games have become really popular for big nights in. It seems there is nothing quite like bonding over questionable choices and outrageous statements.

Learn all the weirdest things about your friends

The Shame of Life is the latest entrant to this genre and, perhaps, one of the best. While many similar games have set answers, this one allows free thought. As a result, even the craziest ideas come to the fore — perfect for making everyone crease up. It’s halfway between a game and a conversation starter.

In addition, The Shame of Life has three different game modes to suit different players. You can allow the debate to flow naturally or take it in turns so that everyone has their share. Alternatively, you can unleash your competitive streak by debating against your opponents.

Scientific silliness

This naughty party game is primarily the work of Gareth Breeze, an inventor, designer and author. His mind is clearly a weird place, because he has created 100 fun prompts for The Shame of Life first edition.

It’s okay to get weird with this party game

In fact, he came up with many more. However, the weaker ones were culled during a rigorous testing process that aimed to find the funniest debating topics imaginable.

The result is a card game that asks you to choose between your screams sounding like farts, or your farts sounding like screams. You might also be asked what you would like erections to sound like, and what position you would want to be taxidermied in.

This NSFW game will have you breaking all the rules

“Every moment of every day, someone somewhere is second guessing what they’re about to say. Worrying it’s too weird, too dumb, too dark, or any of a thousand things that will shame us into silence… The Shame of Life encourages players to lose their inhibitions using a series of well-crafted questions in a mix of absurd themes that create a safe space for all your weird.” — Gareth Breeze

What we ❤️

If you don’t know anyone at a party, getting involved can be a little daunting. This NSFW card game encourages every player to let loose — the sillier the better!
