Charge Everything Apple with NuDock

Charge Everything Apple with NuDock

It seems that at work and home I have white power cords everywhere. I have one for my iPhone, one for my iPad mini, one for each MacBook, and then double that list for my husband’s range of Apple gear. Some of them are starting to fray as I haven’t looked after them as well as I should have. The worst part is that I bring them from room to room, office to home, and end up misplacing them in the process. NuDock solves all of my white cord problems with a one-stop Apple storage station.

NuDock by MiTagg is a simple and elegant way to effectively store all of your devices and still be able to use them. It comes with a place for each of your Apple devices and neatly tucks away the cords so you can get full charges without the fray.

NuDock kit

NuDock is made of four main charging points. First, there is the main dock, which has a lightning cable for your iPhone (5 and higher) and iPad. Next, there is NuStand, a unique Apple Watch charging stand and a removable keychain battery, NuKi, with both a lightning port and micro USB port. NuDock also contains a USB for non-lightning ports (like Kindle) and a fully dimmable LED light with a one-hour sleep timer– perfect for anywhere in your home, office, or wherever your charge your gear.

NuDock lightning port

NuDock uniquely allows you to continue using your devices seamlessly while they charge. The adjustable charging mount means you don’t have to remove your bulky phone case no matter how intense it is. In addition, the freestanding yet strong lightning port doesn’t obstruct the microphone, audio jack, or speaker so you can continue to Skype while you top up your battery.

NuDock bedside

NuDock is made of anodized aluminum so it will fit with any décor and the base is rubber to prevent any slipping. The dock is about a foot long, just three inches wide, and less than a foot tall. Dimming is controlled by touching the base of NuDock.

NuKi

NuKi, made with the same anodized aluminum as NuDock, is just 3.5 inches long, less than two inches wide, and only half an inch in depth (read: it can go with you anywhere). It uses pass through charging, which means that when plugged in to your phone and a power source, your phone will charge first and then NuKi. It comes with a key ring so you’ll always have it handy and it can be disconnected easily. NuKi charges via USB to your computer or with a portable docking station.

The MiTagg team also gave NuKi Bluetooth capability so you can always track it with your iPhone or Apple Watch and vice versa. Attach NuKi to your keys and you can locate them with a simple click on the app.

NuStand

NuStand allows you to store and charge your Apple Watch and still be able to use it. The stand is also made from anodized aluminum but, thanks to hitting some insane crowd-funding goals (over $560k of their $30k goal), it is available in gold, space grey, and silver. The base has a reusable suction so you can rest assured the watch is always safe.

NuDock in kitchen

The NuDock set is available on MiTagg’s Indiegogo campaign for $169 but will retail for $249. You can purchase the units separately, too. NuKi is $34 and NuStand $44. Campaign backers will get their NuDocks as early as July.
