After teasing audiences back in November, OPPO has officially launched the Find X3 series, starting with the flagship Find X3 Pro. There are so many features to this smartphone, but its main standout point is its use for photography. It features multiple cameras (4 in total), but the most impressive one is and a 30x microscopic camera that lets you unravel a new world before your eyes.
Receive a rare 30x microscopic camera
The Find X3 Pro features a third 3-megapixel f/3.0 microscopic camera that offers 30x magnification while supporting FHD video recording. OPPO claims that the camera has a 60x magnification, although that’s in conjunction with the 2x zoom. This camera is great for seeing the texture and details of shots up close. And as the focal distance is between 1 mm and 3 mm, it also sports a small ring light to highlight your subject.
Furthermore, the Find X3 Pro’s remaining cameras are also unique. This includes a 50 mp wide-angle camera, 50 mp ultra-wide-angle camera, and 13 mp telephoto camera. In particular, the ultra-wide-angle camera has a 110.3° field of vision. So there’s minimal distortion at the edges, making it ideal for group shots or wide landscapes.
Each of the 4 cameras comes with Cinematic Mode built into the phone that lets you become the director of your own creations. In fact, you’ll receive access to a spectrum of 1.07 billion colors for rich photography and videos. This refers to the 10-bit full-path color engine ensures that the phone accurately displays videos for watching back your footage. To put this into perspective, most smartphones display visuals in 16.7 million colors with an 8-bit color depth.
As well as display a wide range of colors, OPPO’s smartphone automatically adjusts colors in photographs for the most vibrant results. And all cameras use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 for power. And when it’s time to view your creations on the screen, ColorOS 11.2 renders colors in a realistic manner. Therefore, tones will appear more natural and not overly saturated.
Perfect your shots in all conditions
Best of all, the cameras feature various modes to help you perfect your content. These rear-camera modes include: Photo, Night, Video, Portrait, Dual-view video, Slo-motion, Timelapse, Movie, Expert, Panorama, Text scanner, Microscope, Sticker, and Google LensFront. For the front camera, you’ll receive the same modes: Photo, Video, Portrait, Night, Dual-view video, Timelapse, Panorama, and Sticker.
In summary, this photography phone includes a 120 Hz display, 3,216 x 1,440-pixel resolution, 12 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, and a 4,500 mAh battery.
