Did you buy yourself one of those 4k TVs under $1000 earlier this year? Or maybe you splurged and got yourself one of those fancy 8K or bezel-less models? Either way, a new TV deserves incredible sound, something that your TV speakers alone simply can’t provide. To make your living room setup great for Sunday night movies or that get-together you’re planning, you’ll want to look into these best Dolby Atmos soundbars.
You probably already know that Dolby Atmos soundbars aren’t your typical TV speakers. They create that object-based surround sound that makes audio from your TV seem like it’s coming from overhead. It’s a similar experience to what you’d get at a movie theater. But since most of us catch the latest flicks at home these days, it’s time to bring a bit of the cinema to your living room.
And with a Dolby Atmos soundbar, you won’t have to set up speakers strategically around your house or drill one into your ceiling. Just one thin speaker bar and maybe a rear speaker is all you need to get unbelievable audio in your own home. Setup, for most brands, is easy.
But soundbars aren’t just for your TV. Most connect to other devices via Bluetooth and can play your songs from Spotify or other music apps. So your soundbar can also serve as your DJ for parties at home or while you’re doing chores. Because you deserve theater-quality music, too.

I own the Q90R from Samsung and it's by far superior to the Q70R mentioned here. Two things that absolutely should be mentioned about it are it's wireless rear speakers as well as it it's eAEC support. Don't know how you came to your ranking but to me it looks just like a random listing of Atmos Soundbars. My personal opinion is that there is no sense in speaking of Atmos for Home Theaters if there are no rears that can produce sound coming from behind you.
I have owned the Nakamichi 9.2 Shockwafe system for about a year now, and i gotta say, it still blows me away every day.. Aside from the awesome power of 1000W's, and the 2 massive wireless subs produce powerful and precise bass that rocks the house. The clarity and precision of the 3D sound all around you is something that needs to be experienced first hand.. At first, i wasn't so impressed with my purchase at $1300.. It took me learning my way around the menu's and settings, and really getting comfortable making changes to dial the system in to its surrounding environment.. In my opinion, the best part of this system is the way Nakamichi's processors work to make every sound heard, even if its not a Dolby Atmos movie playing.. If you're just getting into Atmos, theres a few things to know. First, to experience true Atmos, everything has to be correct. The Movie you are watching must be made in Dolby Atmos. Also, the device playing the movie or streaming the movie must be Atmos capable as well. Xbox one S and one X make that possible, along with other certain DVD players and televisions. The Soundbar must also be equipped for Atmos. But once you have all these ducks in a row, and you dial the settings in, you wont stop smiling ear to ear and being all gitty lol I highly recommend the Shockwafe 9.2 system to anyone looking to invest in their audio system and experience the brilliant sound of Dolby Atmos, especially in the world we're in today.. Not being able to go to the movies because of the carona virus stinks, but having a home surround sound system that's better then that in the movie theaters is a solution that makes the urge of going to a movie theater obsolete..
