Bluedio T4 (Turbine) – Premium Wireless Headphones For a Great Price
Another day, another headphone review! Today, we have another pair of wireless headphones but these focus on luxury and style over form and function. However, this set doesn’t quite lack in either of those areas. I present the Bluedio T4. Where I would wear the Mpow M3 headphones for outside work or working out, the T4’s are for laying back on the couch, working at my desk or for listening to music in business class. You know, more of an inside man’s type of headphones. Wearing the T4 Headphones all day wouldn’t be out of place thanks to the:
– superb build quality
– excellent looks
– USB-C charging port and cable
How About That Luxury?
The T4 Headphones are built to last, no doubt about that. The headband is faux leather and the earcups are similarly adorned while the frame is made from metal. This combination makes for a supple yet pleasant feel all around. The $46 price tag betrays the build quality here, especially for a pair of luxury headphones. As for durability, I feel the T4 Headphones fall in line with most non-rugged or workout type headphones. Not fragile per se, but not super tough either. Treating these headphones (or any pair of headphones really) with care will reward you by lasting longer.
For long listening sessions, they are a little bit heavier due to the higher quality materials but it’s still a comfortable experience. No ear fatigue, no trapped sweat, just a pleasant listening experience.
Questionable Performance?
Upon reading other reviews of the T4 Headphones, I saw a common thread related to a potential issue with latency from the Bluetooth connection. So, I made sure to really pay attention to the syncing of audio with video when watching YouTube and Netflix on my phone.
However, there’s no need to worry. I experienced no such issues with this headset. The video and audio synced with no issues whatsoever. It’s possible the T4 Headphones launched with said latency issue but it was resolved with new firmware. Obviously, this is pure speculation from me and all that matters is that I never experienced any problems with latency. The T4s pass the test!

The audio quality itself is excellent with a more balanced range than the Mpow M3 Headphones which were more bass heavy. Coupled with the long lasting battery of up to 16 hours, I find them to be very enjoyable for non-workout related listening occasions.
Function!
The T4 Headphones come with controls on the earcups for the usual stuff: volume up/down, skip track forward/backward, play/pause while also including a switch on the outer part of the earcups for active noise cancellation.
The earcups also rotate to lay flat and fit nicely in the included carrying sack. Unfortunately, they don’t fold and are a bit large for travel headphones. But, I don’t find them to be cumbersome and there are advantages to having lay flat headphones for certain packing arrangements as opposed to a thicker/taller “ball.”
What We ❤️
The T4 Headphones are true luxury without breaking the bank nor sacrificing major features. Plus, the white and red colors look amazing. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced pair of headphones that don’t look, feel or sound cheap, the T4s are for you.
