Keep Your Fingers Intact with the NAIL IT Finger Saver

By Ashley Timms on under

Having purchased our first home just over a year ago, it seems there’s a never-ending list of things to change, fix, and decorate. With this list of tasks comes injuries. Namely, accidentally hammering your fingers when trying to hang a picture frame. Luckily, with the NAIL IT Finger Saver, it won’t happen again.

Coming in the oh-so-cute design of a school boy, this plastic device is able to hold a nail while you hammer away. With it, you save your fingers from countless injuries.

The NAIL IT Finger Saver has a slit cut down the middle from the top. Along this slit are five different circular cutouts to suit a wide variety of nails. Simply line this tool up with the nail, secure the nail in one of the cutouts, and hammer with confidence while your fingers are a safe distance away.

Designed by artist Avihai Shurin for Monkey Business, the adorable design makes using the NAIL IT Finger Saver all the more delightful. The painted eyes of the school boy, reminiscent of Pinocchio when used with a nail near his nose, are pointed inwards as if he’s watching over you while you hammer the nail.

Rather than your fingers, the end of the hammer will hit the plastic which will absorb the shock to help keep your walls and furniture mark-free. At 6.6cm (2.6 inches) tall, 2.3cm (.9 inches) wide, and .8cm (.3 inches) thick, you’ll knock out that DIY list in no time without injury.

The NAIL IT Finger Saver is the perfect size to keep in your toolbox, tool belt, or even drawer so it’s always handy. Additionally, it’s a great tool for older kids who are looking to help out around the house. Available for only $11, you can get one for everyone in the family. How many things on your DIY list will be complete once you have the NAIL IT Finger Saver?
