You’ll never forget your big day with the Anniversary Clock
As the years go by, memories of your big day may start to fade. Tenbrink & Co. wants to rekindle the romance with a unique form of timekeeping.
- Love makes us do crazy things. One couple recently ran the London Marathon together after their wedding ceremony.
- Speaking of endurance — these Manhattan lovebirds are celebrating an incredible 70 years of marriage this year.
- No matter how long you’ve been together, the beautiful Anniversary Clock will make every minute seem precious.
When you find the right person, life changes forever. You might have been the Lone Ranger before, but now you need to be a team player. Friday nights at home with a bottle of wine are no longer about self pity. There’s always someone at home to hear your grievances after work, and someone to laugh at your failures. You might forget what life was like before, but the date of this momentous change is definitely worth remembering. The new Anniversary Clock from Tenbrink & Co. provides a beautiful reminder throughout the year, counting down the big day.
Big day memories
As the years roll by, many couples only think about their union once each year. But it seems a shame to allow the romance to wane. Even a small reminder of all the times you have spent together can bring back good memories.
It’s these warm fuzzy feelings that the Anniversary Clock hopes to evoke. With three separate dials, this beautiful timepiece keeps count of every year, month, hour, and minute since you said, “I do.”
Celebratory countdown
The story behind the Anniversary Clock is pretty heartwarming.
ER doctor Kelly Tenbrink was caring for an elderly patient one night. Her husband held her hand, providing steadfast reassurance. Tenbrink asked the man how long the pair had been married. The reply was virtually instant: “48 years, five months, three days, and…” — looking at his watch —“eight hours and 52 minutes.”
This inspired Tenbrink to create a timepiece that would allow every couple to keep such an accurate record. The Anniversary Clock is the handsome result of his efforts.

The three dials are stacked on top of a wooden base, with a glass dome providing protection. The first dial works like any other clock, counting the hours, minutes and seconds. The middle dial is exclusively for the days. The Anniversary Clock knows exactly how many days are in every month, and it’s smart enough to handle leap years.
The top dial counts the years, all the way up to fifty. When your anniversary finally comes around each year, the clock will even play your favorite song three times on the day.
“Throughout life there are events to remember and accomplishments to celebrate. You celebrate these anniversaries because they are an achievement. Every passing day and year make that anniversary more special. You should be proud of that accumulation of time. Now you can display it.” — Tenbrink & Co. on Kickstarter
What we ❤
As a celebration of love, this clock is probably the sweetest gift you could give to your partner. It also makes a beautiful addition to your mantel.
Constructive criticism
We like the design, but the classical looks won’t be to everyone’s taste. Perhaps we will see a more modern, minimal version at some point.
