The Gemio High-Tech Wristband Keeps You Connected to Your Friends

Wearables have come so far in technology. From simply tracking our steps and calories, we can now also check our heart rate, monitor our sleep, and even manage our stress. But Gemio has conquered the final frontier and makes wearables personal.

Gemio is high-tech band for the connected generation. Controlled with an app, this wristband lets you express yourself however and whenever you want – and even change as often as you want.

What makes Gemio so versatile are the swappable, responsive tiles. With space for five tiles, each can be programmed in the app to reflect your style. Switch out the patterns to match everything from your mood to your music to your style. Using the app, you can also customise your own light effects all on demand.

The Gemio Effects are used to give life to the wristband. The tiles and app have so many different options that you’ll never run out of combinations. The tiles are super smart and are even able to respond to the beat of the music around you. This makes Gemio the perfect accessory for concerts and festivals.

Additionally, because Gemio is equipped with Bluetooth technology and a mesh network, you can use this smart wristband to communicate. Linking with your friends’ bands, the Gemio Signals are used to inform your friends that you’re nearby, that you’d like to meet up, or even that you’re thinking of them (and loads more). With Gemio, you can easily remain connected at busy events without having to rely on phone calls or texts.

This incredibly unique wearable comes with a wireless charger to help you cut the cords even more. Simply set the wristband on the dock and the charging will initiate – it couldn’t be easier. While it’s topping up, Gemio can also be set to produce a subtle glow to function as a nightlight.

Beyond music events, Gemio is the easiest way to complement your style while staying connected with your friends. From a party on the beach to a party in the club, you can live it up and live in the moment.

Making its debut on Kickstarter on July 20th, Gemio has scored some serious funding with nearly $40k (and counting!) of their $50k goal. Gemio can be pre-ordered for the super early bird price of just $49. What’s the first even that you’ll wear Gemio?
